A little while ago a good friend of mine started up a podcast for local pro soccer club. The Podcast is the Unused Substitutes and last year he asked me to come along and do game photos for the podcast.
One of my goals is to do sports photography and I took up his offer in a heart beat, and last season was one of the best experiences of my life.
Last night was the first preseason match of the year, against the MLS's DC United.
The weather was colder than what I am accustomed to (although 55 Degrees Fahrenheit isn't exactly cold). I didn't really put the weather into account until we were about 5 minutes into the match and my hands were already numb.
Regardless of the cold air and my numb hands I was still able to get some good shots and enjoy the match.
As always, the night was wonderful overall. Unfortunately the Rowdies lost 1-0. It's preseason at least.
I also managed to snap this neat shot of the moon and a building as I was on my way out.
