When thinking of photography, the most important aspect of the art is taking the picture. I think anyone who's held a camera knows that, but equally important is post production. When taking a picture you have an idea of how you want the final result to be. In post, that is where everything comes together.
What I decided to do this week was go back to some previous images I've taken, some where 1. I'm not sure where I took them and 2. With what camera, as part of a way to compare and contrast my editing style. I've noticed lately that my style in editing has shifted greatly since I started putting time and effort into photography. Below are some before and after images for comparing.
There is definintly a change in style, from hues, cropping, highlighting, and probably everything in between. Sometimes better and sometimes not. I always like to take some time and look back at older work because the reflection helps with looking forward. Hopefully next week I have some new content, but until then-
